Health Education
Santa Rosa Community Health is providing FREE evidence-based education that complies with the California Healthy Youth Act; to schools that meet the qualifications. The curriculum we use is called Making Proud Choices, an 8-module curriculum that provides adolescents with the knowledge, confidence, and skills necessary to reduce their risk of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), HIV, and pregnancy by abstaining from sex or using condoms if they choose to have sex.
Currently, we teach at some Santa Rosa School District high schools, Roseland District middle and high schools, Wright District, and some special education through SCOE education department.
